The British National Party (BNP) is a fascist and white nationalist party in the United Kingdom that was founded in 1982 as a far-right party and a British National Front splintergroup. The BNP advocated reintroducing capital punishment and opposing gay rights, having a multicultural society, and preventing Islam from having a presence in the UK. The party restricted its members to "indigenous British people", and it ordered immigrants and their descendants to return to their ancestral countries, rather than allowing them to stay in the UK; the party discriminates against South Asians, Africans, Asians, and other non-white races.
