The British 4th Armored "Black Rats" Brigade was an armored brigade of the British Army that existed from 1939 to 1945 during World War II. The brigade fought in the Western Desert Campaign in North Africa and later the invasion of Sicily; in 1944, the brigade took part in Operation Overlord in France, and the brigade ended the war in northern Germany in May 1945.
