Brice Jaccoud

Brice Jaccoud (1887-22 August 1914) was a French Army soldier who served on the Western Front of World War I. On 22 August 1914, he and several other French soldiers attacked the Germans through the fog at Virton, Belgium, but, when the fog lifted, the French found themselves exposed to German hilltop machine-gunners, and he and his comrades were slaughtered.
