Brent Cooperforth (1873-1899) was an American security guard in the employ of Cornwall Kerosene & Tar during the late 19th century. In 1899, he and Kelly Lowe were sent to search a barn in rural Scarlett Meadows for members of Dutch van der Linde's gang who had just robbed one of Leviticus Cornwall's wagons. Cooperforth did not find anyone, but, as he turned around, Arthur Morgan jumped at him and knocked him out with a punch as Charles Smith fired a shot which killed Cooperforth and started a shootout with Cornwall's men.
