Brazilians are an ethnic group that make up 56.17% of the population of Brazil. Made of the white population, Brazilians are descended from the Portuguese people and speak the Lusophone language of Brazilian, adapted from Portuguese. The group includes Jose Bonifacio, Dom Pedro I of Brazil, Dom Pedro II of Brazil, and Carlos Federico Lecor. Uruguay, Argentina, and other bordering countries also have Brazilian minority groups.
