Brad Snider

Bradley "Brad" Snider (29 October 1964-2004) was an American criminal who worked with Michael De Santa and Trevor Philips until his death during a botched bank robbery in Bismarck, North Dakota in 2004.

Biography[]

Brad Snider was born in Bismarck, North Dakota, and he did not commit any major crimes until he was recruited by Trevor Philips. He joined a heist crew consisting of Philips, Michael De Santa (then known as "Michael Townley"), and Lester Crest, and they took part in several robberies in the Midwest. Townley and Crest distrusted and disliked Snider, while Philips became a close friend. In 2004, the robbers attempted to pull a score from the Bobcat Security Depot in Bismarck, but the getaway driver Eddie Sulzer was killed by police, and Snider was later shot dead by FBI sniper Dave Norton. Snider was mortally wounded, but the FBI covered up his death, burying him in place of the supposedly-deceased Townley (who changed his name and moved to Los Angeles). FBI trainees wrote to Philips in Snider's name, leading Philips with the impression that Snider was in a supermax prison in southern California; it was not until 2013 that Philips discovered the FBI's cover-up of Snider's death.
