Brad Ploeger was a 2012 US Libertarian Party candidate who sought election to District 3 of the Georgia Public Service Commission. His campaign was focused on defending consumers, ethical governance, and fiscal responsibility, and he was opposed to nuclear energy. On 6 November 2012, he lost with 4.8% of the vote, while Republican Party candidate Chuck Eaton won with 52.1% of the vote.
