Boris Petrovich Vorshevsky (October 7, 1951-) was President of Russia from 10 August 2015, succeeding Vladimir Putin. He relinquished his presidency after World War III, Putin taking the mantle once again.

Biography[]

Boris Petrovich Vorshevsky was born on 7 October 1951 in Leningrad, Leningrad Oblast, Soviet Union to Pyotr Igorovich Vorshevsky and an unnamed mother.

He was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CCCP), and he remained a devout communist even after the fall of the USSR in 1991. He was a supporter of Imran Zakhaev during his uprising of Russian Ultranationalists against the government of President Vladimir Putin.

In 2011, Zakhaev's assassination led to Vorshevsky taking over the Ultranationalists, and in August 2015 he became President of Russia after the Ultranationalists won the Second Russian Civil War and ousted Putin. A moderate Ultranationalist, he expelled the extremist Vladimir Makarov from the government, leading to Makarov declaring war on Vorshevsky's government.

He declared war on the United States in August 2016 after it was discovered that the Central Intelligence Agency sent an agent on a deep cover operation with Makarov during the Zakhaev International Airport massacre, and World War III started.

From 15 August to 3 October 2016, Russia fought against America and NATO, and he eventually considered making peace with them. However, Makarov hijacked his plane and took him and his daughter Alena Vorshevsky prisoner, torturing him in hopes of securing Russia's nuclear codes. However, Delta Force and the disavowed Task Force 141 rescued him on 14 October, taking him out of a Siberian mine with his daughter.

He made peace with NATO after this, forming a coalition government with some democrats from the past regime. Vorshevsky was now friendly towards the United States and the West, ending the risk of more East-West contention. Despite this, Vorshevsky resigned due to massive scrutiny over helping cause World War III, with Putin becoming President again.
