Boniface I of Montferrat (1177-1207) was the third son of William V of Montferrat and a brother of William Longsword and Conrad of Montferrat. Boniface was the main leader of the Fourth Crusade and along with Enrico Dandolo and Fantino, he captured and sacked Constantinople in 1203 and 1204. He died in 1207.
