Bogdan's Crew was a rogue Russian military unit that followed Bogdan to stop the genocidal Avon Hertz and his AI Cliffford from causing the end of the world. It mainly consisted of former Russian Navy, Russian Army, Spetsnaz, mercenaries, and scientists formerly affiliated with the Russian government. Their headquarters was the Typhoon-class submarine Ramius, named for deceased Soviet submarine captain Marko Ramius.
In 2017, they took action in Los Angeles and began a war against Hertz and his affiliates, which included the CIA. Bogdan hired Merryweather Security to conduct a raid on the CIA outpost under the Satellite Array Station in Blaine County, in which they were defeated, and their presence discovered by Cliffford. They kidnapped senior CIA agent Bernard Fortune, who was shortly after rescued by Lester Crest's associates working for Hertz and the CIA, attempting to destroy hard drives containing Cliffford's code only to be stopped, and running supplies back to the Ramius which were destroyed.
The rest of Bogdan's crew attempted to stop the invasion of their sub, but one flipped to Hertz's side and was sent to the brig, where he told the invading agents of the bridge. After eliminating the rest of the crew, Bogdan himself told the agents of Hertz's plans, only for the agents to be betrayed and everyone barely escaping. The remainder of Bogdan's crew left in California were shortly eliminated by the Cliffford Mercenaries, a clone army produced by Cliffford.
