Biography[]
Early life and discovery[]
Bogdan was born on October 7, 1972, in the Russian SFSR, growing to have an immense hatred of America and the Russian Federation after the Berlin Wall fell. He eventually joined the Russian Navy and rose to become the commander of his submarine, the Ramius, a Typhoon-class submarine named after deceased Soviet submarine Captain Marko Ramius. He participated in several wargames during his time in the military, with each time an AI taking control and destroying everything.
During an operation in the Pacific Ocean, Bogdan intercepted information about American billionaire Avon Hertz and his plans with newly constructed AI Cliffford. Knowing this information and the fact that the Kremlin will not risk war with the United States over this, Bogdan and his men went rogue and began operations to stop Hertz by any means necessary.
Operations against Avon Hertz[]
Bogdan convinced several units of the Russian Army, the Spetsnaz, and scientists to go rogue with him as well, citing Avon Hertz' plans of doomsday. He also hired Merryweather Security for attacks on the mainland for fear of discovery, with Merryweather assaulting a CIA outpost at the Satellite Relay Station in the Grand Senora Desert while the agents were at a department potluck. However, Lester Crest's associates working for Hertz killed the Merryweather agents and saved the station.
Meanwhile, Bogdan had Bernard Fortune, the CIA agent in charge of the drug trade, captured and brought to the Grand Banks Steel Foundry in East Los Angeles. He was rescued by CIA associates, who killed Bogdan's crew who were holding him there. More rogue agents chased the associates and Fortune before Cliffford decoded their communications, stopping the pursuit. Later, Bogdan's crew captured several of Hertz's hard drives containing Cliffford's code, though were stopped and the code being retrieved by the associates. The resupply convoy was destroyed by the agents in Ocelot Strombergs, depriving the Ramius of vital supplies.
The agents later raided the Ramius, killing everyone onboard, excluding Bogdan himself. He told the agents of Hertz's doomsday plans, before Hertz betrayed the group and activated the Ramius's self-destruct, the agents fleeing out of the hatch while Bogdan took an escape pod.
Stopping Avon[]
Bogdan later arrived at Crest's associate's bunker, assisting Crest with planning of how to stop Hertz. He oversaw the team capturing Hertz's weaponized HVY Barrage and a PL-01 light stealth tank, speaking of the devastation that Cliffford and Hertz could bring to the world.
After Cliffford was destroyed and Hertz was killed, Bogdan returned to Russia to face trial for treason, his mission complete.
