Bob Levinger (died 1882) was a resident of West Virginia and a cousin of the Hatfield family. In 1881, the Pinkerton Frank Phillips attempted to arrest Levinger for illegal squatting, but, when Bob and his brother Ed Levinger attempted to resist arrest, Phillips shot both of them dead, though not before Ed injured him.
