Bob Good was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-VA 5) from 3 January 2021 to 3 January 2025, succeeding Denver Riggleman and preceding John McGuire.
Biography[]
Bob Good was born in Pennsylvania, and he was raised in North Jersey. He went on to serve as the senior associate athletics director of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and as a member of the Campbell County Board of Supervisors during the 2010s; he identified as a born-again Christian and as a Biblical conservative. In 2020, he ran for the US House of Representatives from VA-5, defeating Denver Riggleman in the primary after accusing him of betraying the trust of the conservative Republican base of his district with his votes against Donald Trump's border wall, his policy on jobs, and ICE.
