Bo Zhen

Bo Zhen (161-192) was a Yellow Turban officer who served under Huang Shao during the Yellow Turban Rebellion. He was a commander in Zhou Cao's army, which guarded the town of Henei during the late 2nd century AD. In 192 AD, during the Siege of Henei, he challenged Guan Yu to a duel; Guan Yu nearly bisected him during the fight, gravely wounding him. A captured and badly wounded Bo Zhen then refused to serve Liu Bei, who then had him executed.
