Blazhenov Slava Yurievich (died 15 March 1981) was a Soviet Spetsnaz GRU operative who was stationed at a secret radar facility among the ruins of the Solovetsky Monastery in the White Sea's Solovetsky Islands during the Cold War. In 1981, he and several other Spetsnaz operatives were killed in an American CIA Black Ops raid on the island as Perseus prepared to detonate Operation Greenlight nuclear bombs across Europe.
