Blake Tollison Shelton (18 June 1976-) is an American country singer-songwriter. Born in Ada, Oklahoma, he moved to Nashville at the age of 17 to pursue a singing career and made his professional musical debut in 2001. He came to chart 40 singles by December 2020, and he was nominated for nine Grammy Awards.
Shelton was a Republican, announcing his reluctant intention to vote for Donald Trump in 2016. He married Gwen Stefani in 2021, and she underwent a political conversion towards conservatism during their marriage.
