Blackburn Bellows was a forge active in the Southwark district of London, England during the mid-nineteenth century. Despite its numerous run-ins with city health and worker regulations, it remained in business with the help of wealthy businessman Crawford Starrick, who had the factory employ children for cheap labor. In 1868, Jacob Frye killed foreman Clifford Carnall and liberated the children of the factory.
