Bishop Bogorchu of Shikhlar (1232-) was a bishop of the Ilkhanate.
Biography[]
Bogorchu was born in 1232 to the Dulukids, a dynasty of Orthodox Christian Mongols. In 1263 he was invited to the court of Khagan Hulegu Khan of the Ilkhanate, and Hulegu granted him the landed title of the Bishopric of Shikhlar, which had just been seized from the Kesranid Satrapy in Azerbaijan.
