Bishop Benoit of Damascus (18 May 1159-) was a bishop of the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
Biography[]
Benoit was born to the House of Monreal, a dynasty of Catholic French, on 18 May 1159. Benoit was granted the Bishopric of Damascus on 5 October 1190 after Guy de Lusignan seized it from Saladin.
