Billy Jack (1931) was a former Green Beret soldier, Native Americans rights activist, politician, cowboy, and vigilante who operated in the middle of the 20th century and into the 21st century.

Billy was a Green Berets durig the Vietnam War.

Billy moved to Prescott, Arizona sometime before 1969, when he started helping a local "Freedom School" that was being harassed by the corrupt local businessman and boss, Stuart Posner, and his bought off lawmen, including Deputy Mike T. Smith.
