Bill Martini

William John "Bill" Martini (10 February 1947-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-NJ 8) from 3 January 1995 to 3 January 1997, succeeding Herb Klein and preceding Bill Pascrell.

Biography[]

William John Martini was born in Passaic, New Jersey in 1947, and he worked as an assistant Hudson County prosecutor from 1973 to 1974, an Assistant US Attorney from 1974 to 1977, a member of the Clifton City Council from 1990 to 1994, a member of the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders from 1993 to 1995, a member of the US House of Representatives from 1995 to 1997 (winning his seat amid the Republican Revolution and losing it to Democrat Bill Pascrell two years later), a member of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Board of Commissioners from 1999 to 2002, and a Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey from 2002 to 2015.
