Bill Lee (born 9 October 1959) was Governor of Tennessee (R) from 3 January 2019, succeeding Bill Haslam.
Biography[]
Bill Lee was born in Franklin, Tennessee, and he was raised on a farm. From 1992 to 2016, he was CEO of his family's construction company, and he decided to run for Governor in 2017 as a Republican. He supported conservative policies, and he defeated Democrat Karl Dean.
