
Bill Bardi (born 1925) was the Underboss of the Trapani crime family under Dominic Corleone.
Biography[]
Bill Bardi was born in New York City, New York in 1925 to a family of Italian descent, and he grew up in a rough area. He became known as a demolitions expert and jewelry robber, as well as a compulsive gambler and playboy. In 1959, he was "made" into the Trapani crime family by Dominic Corleone, and he helped Corleone with taking over La Maison Rouge by blowing open the back wall. Bardi was a trusted member of Dominic's crew, and he was later elevated to the rank of Caporegime due to his advanced weapon skills. At the behest of Tom Hagen, Corleone decided to appoint an Underboss, and he chose to promote Bill Bardi due to his advanced weapon license.
