Bieda Malatesta (born 1107) was a cardinal of the Norman Kingdom of Sicily.
Biography[]
Bieda Malatesta was born in 1107 in the Norman Kingdom of Sicily (present-day Italy), and became a priest. Malatesta lived in Jerusalem, and converted the people of the region to Christianity. Due to his high piety and his religious efforts, Malatesta was made a cardinal in 1144 after the death of Peter Scherer.
