Bia the Eye Gouger (died 424 BC) was a Greek mercenary who was active during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography[]
Bia carried out her work with remarkable cruelty and with no patience for pleas of mercy. Those who got away from her alive were never the same. It's not known whether she let them go or they escaped, but most believe it was the former.
In 424 BC, she was hired to hunt down and kill the rival mercenary Kassandra. Bia tracked Kassandra down to the Trachis Fort, where Kassandra ambushed and killed Bia on the ramparts.
