Dulkadir was an Anatolian beylik which existed in southeastern Anatolia from 1307 to 1522, with Maras (Kahramanmaras) serving as its capital. It was founded by Zeyneddin Karaca Bey on lands formerly ruled by the Mongol Ilkhanate, and it served as a buffer state between the Ottoman Turks and the Egyptian Mamelukes and as a source of Ottoman brides. In 1522, Dulkadir was annexed to the Ottoman Empire.
