Bey Qarin of Tabaristan (1031-c. 1078) was the Bey of Tabaristan until c. 1078, preceding Bey Shariyar of Tabaristan.
Biography[]
Qarin was born in 1031 to a Shi'ite Muslim Persian family of the Bavandid dynasty. He became the Bey of Tabaristan in present-day northern Iran, and he reigned until approximately 1078, when he died of natural causes. His son Bey Shariyar of Tabaristan would serve as a general of the Seljuk Empire.
