The Bey Faction was a conservative faction of Algerian politics that was active from 1836 to 1847. The faction was loyal to the ousted Bey of Algiers, and it supported the restoration of the Bey to power and the expulsion of France from North Africa. The faction dominated Algerian politics during the 1830s and 1840s, and it ceased to exist after Abd al-Qadir's rebellion was crushed in 1847.
