
Bertila of Spoleto (850-December 915) was Queen consort of Italy and Holy Roman Empress with Berengar of Friuli.
Biography[]
Bertila of Spoleto was born in 850, the daughter of Suppo II of Spoleto and a woman named Bertha. She married Berengar of Friuli in 880, becoming Queen of Italy in 888, and in 915 she became Holy Roman Emperor upon her husband's coronation. They had several children, including Gisela of Friuli, who would marry Adalbert I of Ivrea.
