Bernalillo is a town in New Mexico and the county seat of Sandoval County. During the 1620s, the wine grape was introduced to Bernalillo and the wine industry exploded, but the vineyard market occasionally dipped due to droughts and floods. In 2016, Bernalillo had a population of 9,202 people.
