Berk the Bard (838-) was a Danish bard who lived in Doncaster, Yorkshire during the late 9th century AD. He met the famed Viking warrior Eivor in December of 875 AD, and he composed a song about Eivor's prowess in battle in exchange for a small amount of coin, and after praising Eivor for his generosity.
