Beorhtric of Gyruum (844-879) was an Anglo-Saxon officer in the service of King Ecgberht II of Northumbria during the late 9th century AD. In 879, he took command of the remnants of Ecgberht's army following his death and defeat at the Battle of Gyruum, but Beorhtric and the remnants of the Saxon army were massacred by the Danes of Northymbre and Jarrow captured by King Guthred.
