The Benten Inn was a brothel located in the Camellia Grove neighborhood of Osaka, Japan during the 1980s. It was built as a massive, Edo-style inn, but, by the 1980s, it had become a notorious brothel. In December 1988, it was used as a base by the Tojo-kai's Nikkyo Consortium subsidiary, and it was the site of a brawl between Goro Majima and Masaru Sera's henchmen on 17 December 1988. Majima was ultimately able to confront Sera and extract from him the location of Makoto Makimura, and he and his boss Tsukasa Sagawa left after Sagawa shot Sera in the back.
