The Benny's Bar bombing occurred on 31 October 1972 when the Ulster Defense Association paramilitary detonated a car bomb outside the Irish-owned Benny's Bar in Sailortown, Belfast, Northern Ireland. The bombing killed two Irish girls who were celebrating Halloween, and 12 people were non-lethally injured in the attack, which specifically targeted Catholic Irish people.
