Bennie Pfeiffer Wertz
(1851-1898) was an American rancher who worked at the Pleasance House near Torreon, Sandoval County, New Mexico during the Wild West era. In 1898, he was killed in a massive shootout with the Arizona Kid as Arizona attempted to steal a horse at the ranch while on Shaky's payroll.
