Benjamin Todd Frederick (5 October 1834-3 November 1903) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-IO 5) from 4 March 1885 to 3 March 1887, succeeding James Wilson and preceding Daniel Kerr. Born in Fredericktown, Ohio, he was raised in Marshalltown, Iowa, and he briefly mined in Marysville, California before returning home to work in the foundry and machine business. He served in Congress from 1885 to 1887, and he retired to San Diego and died there in 1903.
