Benjamin Jones

Benjamin Jones (13 April 1787-24 April 1861) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OH 18) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1837, preceding Matthias Shepler. Born in Winchester, Virginia, he was raised in Washington, Pennsylvania. Jones settled in Wooster, Ohio before serving as a justice of the peace, in the state house from 1821 to 1822, in the state senate from 1829 to 1832, and in Congress.
