Benjamin Holmes (8 August 1846-14 January 1914) was the Democratic Mayor of Kansas City from 1890 to 1892, succeeding Joseph J. Davenport and preceding William S. Cowherd.

Benjamin Holmes was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1846, and he operated a livestock commission firm in Kansas City before serving as Mayor from 1890 to 1892. He died in 1914.
