Benjamin Hohenstein (born 1811) was an American settler who travelled the Oregon Trail in 1848. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1811, he sought new opportunities in the American West and joined an April 1848 wagon train to Oregon, where he became a farmer.
