
Benjamin Franklin Funk (17 October 1838-14 February 1909) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-IL 14) from 4 March 1893 to 3 March 1895, succeeding Owen Scott and preceding Joseph V. Graff.
Biography[]
Benjamin Franklin Funk was born in Funk's Grove Township, McLean County, Illinois in 1838, the son of Isaac Funk. He served in the Union Army during the American Civil War before settling in Bloomington, Illinois in 1869, serving as its mayor from 1871 to 1876 and from 1884 to 1886, and in the US House of Representatives from 1893 to 1895. He died in 1909.
