
Benjamin Edwards (12 August 1753-13 November 1829) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-MD 3) in 1795, succeeding Uriah Forrest and preceding Jeremiah Crabb.
Biography[]
Benjamin Edwards was born in Montgomery County, Maryland in 1753, and he was appointed to serve in the US House of Representatives in 1795 after Uriah Forrest's resignation; Jeremiah Crabb succeeded him that same year. His son Ninian Edwards would later go on to serve as Governor.
