
Benjamin Bennet (31 October 1764 – 8 October 1840) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-NJ) from 1815 to 1819, succeeding George C. Maxwell and preceding Bernard Smith.
Biography[]
Benjamin Bennet was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and he became a Baptist minister and a farmer in Middletown Township, New Jersey in 1793. He served in the US House of Representatives from 1815 to 1819, and he died in 1840.
