Bedezorus was a Canaanite general in the service of the shasu warlord Irsu. In 1200 BC, he raised an army to repel the invasion of the Sea Peoples into Phoenicia, defeating a Weshesh army at the Battle of Madfoun. His army was later disbanded to conserve food, bronze, and gold used to maintain them, but he returned to command after the deaths of Elhu and Yakarum in battle.
