The Battle of Wenningfeld was fought in 1757 between the armies of Hanover and France amid the Seven Years' War.

After Hanover re-entered the Seven Years' War at the behest of King George II, Ferdinand of Brunswick's army marched to reinforce Westphalia against the French. The Hanoverian corps skirmished with a French supply convoy west of Stadtlohn at Wenningfeld, where the Hanoverian Kavallerie-Regiment von Uetze routed the French cavalry before outflanking the French army's raw recruits and helping the infantry drive them from the field. Though the casualty list was lost after the war, the Hanoverians suffered light losses in their first victory.
