The Battle of Ullais was fought in May 633 between the armies of the Arab Rashidun Caliphate and the Persian Sassanid Empire during the Muslim conquest of Persia.

Following the Battle of Walaja, the Persian general Bahman Jadhuyih returned to Ctesiphon, leaving Jaban in command of his army. Meanwhile, the Arab Christian tribes allied to the Persians rallied their forces and met with Jaban's army at Ullais in southern Mesopotamia, fielding an army of 70,000 troops. The Arab general Khalid ibn al-Walid marched north with 18,000 troops, and Khalid proceeded to win the ensuing battle after launching a vigorous assault against the Persian army. He executed almost all of the prisoners after the battle, and Jaban escaped to al-Hira with a portion of the force. Khalid then imposed jizya on the people of Ullais and mandated them to serve as spies for his army.
