The Battle of Kampung Redup occurred in 2010 when the CIA agent Rico Rodriguez eliminated the Panauan Army presence in the village of Kampung Redup.
While returning to the regional CIA base from the Pelaut Archipelago, Rodriguez passed through the mountain village of Kampung Redup. While there, he planted explosives on one of Pandak Panay's propaganda trailers and detonated it, initiating a shootout with the military. After killing several Panauan soldiers, he was able to meet up with Tom Sheldon and Maria Kane and plan Jade Tan's rescue from the Kastelo Singa.
