The Battle of Kamarova was fought on 24 October 1655 between the armies of Poland-Lithuania and Sweden amid the Deluge.
Just days after the Swedes failed to capture Myadzelsk Castle at the Battle of Tridany, another Swedish army under General Simon Grundel-Helmfelt moved south from Livonia to attack the castle. This army was intercepted by three Polish armies under the overall command of Hetman Stanislaw Rewera Potocki; Jerzy Wisniewski's band of mercenaries later arrived to support the Poles. In the ensuing battle, the Polish cavalry defeated the Swedish dragoons before overwhelming the Swedish infantry. The Swedish army was destroyed, removing the threat to Myadzelsk.
