The Battle of Bereznyaki was fought on 25 May 1655 between Poland-Lithuania and the Cossack Hetmanate amid the Khmelnytsky Uprising.

By late May 1655, although the Tsardom of Russia had exited the war, Poland-Lithuania was still engaged in bloody battles with Sweden and the Cossack Hetmanate. On 25 May 1655, Jan Skrzetuski and Jerzy Wisniewski intercepted a Cossack caravan southeast of Slutsk. In the ensuing battle, Polish winged hussars and Lithuanian Tatar cavalry rode down the Cossack infantry and dispatched their few horsemen. After the Ukrainians were massacred to a man, the Poles looted their caravan.
