The Battle of Bella Selva was fought between a team of American special forces operatives and the Santa Blanca Cartel in the Bolivian village of Bella Selva during 2019's Operation Kingslayer.
As part of their mission to shut down Madre Coca's cocaine-growing operation in Tabacal department, Major Anthony Perryman and his Ghost Recon team traveled to the provincial capital of Bella Selva to gather intelligence on the Santa Blanca Cartel. The American squad moved through Bella Selva and captured an ambulance used by the cartel, collected data from a cartel computer (learning about the cartel's drug shipments), and activated a Kataris 26 radio transmission before defending the transmitter from cartel counterattacks until the rebels' propaganda statement was completed. The Americans' victory in Bella Selva helped rally popular support for Kataris 26 in the province, weakening the cartel's hold.
