The Battle of Alicia occurred in 2019 when the United States' Ghost Recon special forces team attacked Santa Blanca Cartel targets in the village of Alicia in Bolivia's Parque Nacional de Agua Verde, resulting in Kataris 26 establishing a foothold in the village.
Major Anthony Perryman's four-man squad came to Alicia to hunt down Javier Coronel Vallardo's assistant Jovis Delgado Sanchez, whom they had tracked down to Alicia from his mansion along the Agua Verde Lake. The Americans assassinated Delgado at his stronghold, killing several sicarios in the process. Hoping to further weaken the cartel in Alicia, the Americans activated a rebel radio transmission, blaring communist propaganda and attracting the attention of narco hitmen. The Americans held their position and killed truckloads of sicarios until the broadcast finished, by which time the narcos stopped sending soldiers to attack them.
